Make a Metal Sculpture: 3-day course

Bookings are now open for my forthcoming 3-day sculpture course at Glasgow Sculpture Studios, running over 3 consecutive Saturdays – 18th March, 25th March and 1st April 2017.
Working in steel, you will develop both a hands-on knowledge relating to the processes for sculptural fabrication, as well as a sculptural language in constructed metal for its own sake. This could result in linear and rhythmic forms in space, or volumetric and contained forms.
The course is suitable for beginners and those who have some previous experience. A maximum of 6 participants ensures a high quality of teaching and student/teacher ratio. All materials and safety equipment provided. The course takes place in the superbly-equipped metalwork shop at Glasgow Sculpture Studios.
